U-Boat Worx Completes Five Successful Events in Three Months

These past three months have proven extremely busy for U-Boat Worx.

We started our worldwide tour with a presence at the world-renowned Monaco Yacht Show, held from 22 to 25 September. We had three of our gorgeous subs on display. This event was the perfect opportunity for us to launch our new deep-diving C-Explorer 2 personal submersible.

Visitors to the Show were offered test-dives, which proved extremely popular.

Three weeks later, we crossed the Atlantic Ocean with our C-Quester 3, heading for Fort Lauderdale where we first took part in the Yacht Chandlers Benefit Event held in honour of the Save our Seas Foundation.

Then, with our local dealer partner, Brownies, we attended the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show which ran from October 28 to November 1, where we gave demonstrations of the C-Quester 3 to interested visitors.

Next, over to the west, we arrived in Las Vegas where we were represented at DEMA 2010 (the largest international trade-only event for the recreational scuba diving and action water sports industries) by our partner Red Sail Sports Aruba.

Our last, and possibly most glamorous stop before heading back home to The Netherlands was a few days in-house at the famous Jack Barclay Bentley showroom in Berkeley Square, Mayfair, London.

Our C-Quester 2 was invited to participate in A Night of Luxury on November 24 and 25 to celebrate the London premiere of the Bentley Continental GT. This exclusive, invite-only event ran over two nights, and was supported by a select number of luxury brands, and attracted hundreds of VIP guests.

Our sub had pride of place in the front window of what many consider to be the most prestigious showroom in the UK! We had a number of positive enquiries about our subs following this event.

U-Boat Worx starts development C-Explorer 5

This month, U-Boat Worx commenced developmental work on the newest member of the C-Explorer family - the C-Explorer 5.

Described as the worlds first underwater limousine, this extraordinary sub has space for four passengers and one pilot, and has a maximum operating depth of 100 metres.

A C-Explorer 5 means that guests on megayachts which carry this sub will have the opportunity to explore the depths of the ocean and is ideal for tourist operators to offer a semi-private underwater experience. The sub has a full 360- degree acrylic pressure hull, which gives every passenger the best unobstructive view possible.
